Information
Wilsons Promontory (The Prom) is the southern most point in Victoria, and is host to a stunning variety of natural landscapes from coastal dunes (as in this photograph) to waves crashing on rocks with migrating whales, and dense Australian bush. It’s a popular area for people to camp and hike during the summer months, with rewarding sunsets and sunrises.

The Big Drift is a large coastal sand dune that has enveloped part of this the western side of the prom. During the day the sand is a golden yellow colour, but reflects gorgeous purples and reds during sunset presenting a wonderful opportunity to photograph.
